About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Processing Engineering team members
- Train and employ Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement projects
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events for continuous improvement
- Maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure successful implementation of new products
- Lead cost reduction efforts targeting 10% plant cost reduction annually
- Collaborate with Asset Engineering Manager on maintenance and reliability improvement strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ Years of Experience in Process engineering/optimization, continuous improvement, & quality
- Posses or working towards Six Sigma Black Belt
- Specialized Degree: Engineering preferred (15+ Years)
- Experience managing a team (2-5 members)
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with Quality Management System (QMS) including ISO 9001
- Experience with APQP and PPAP methods
