About the role
- Manages the environmental health and safety (EHS) function across assigned operations
- Provides leadership to professional team members and/or supervisors
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations
- Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address operational challenges and evolving regulatory standards
- Provides technical guidance and expertise to leadership, employees, and customers
- Develops and implements programs that foster a culture of safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship
- Operates with guidance from the director and collaborates cross-functionally to integrate EHS practices into business operations
- Supports the change management and safety integration to the newly construction distribution center in Waco, GA
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree - Specialized Degree : engineering, industrial safety, or related science with experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5-7 Years of experience in manufacturing, occupational safety experience in general industry
- 5-year experience of environmental efforts with waste management, EPCRA, storm water, spill prevention, air, and waste
- Licenses and Certifications : OSHA 10-hour, OSHA 30-hour, ASP, CSP, SMS
