Manage and support SouthState’s complex business applications outside of core banking portfolio.
Collaborate with IT and business units utilizing these applications.
Serve as a technical resource on new technology implementations.
Support projects through discovery, testing, change management, and post-implementation phases.
Mentor junior members and act as Team Lead when needed.
Administer, configure, and maintain multiple complex enterprise-level applications.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Perform system analysis on configuration and functional specifications.
Document standard operating procedures, system changes, technical specifications, and user manuals.
Work collaboratively with IT Risk Management & Governance for audits and security assessments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field strongly preferred.
8+ years’ experience working with IT applications and support in a production environment.
Prior banking experience preferred.
6+ years’ experience executing production system changes.
Prior experience working in an IT Service Management System required (ServiceNow, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Intermediate and Advanced certification preferred for Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administration, CompTIA Security +, Server+, Data+.
Experience with MS Suite of Applications including advanced Visio Drawing ability strongly preferred.
