About the role

  • Supports the commercial loan and deposit portfolio of Relationship Managers providing quality underwriting, sound portfolio management, and superior client service.
  • Analyzes financial information to evaluate credit worthiness of loan requests and manage ongoing portfolio activities.
  • Completes industry research and compiles commercial loan packages ensuring accuracy.
  • Guides loan requests through Credit Approval Process ensuring compliance with regulations and Bank policies.
  • Monitors and services large commercial loan portfolios, manages risk grading, and assists Relationship Managers in credit presentations.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in credit analysis, commercial banking, business banking with at least 2 years of specific portfolio management and/or underwriting experience supporting Middle Market.
  • Familiarity with loan structuring and loan documentation is required.
  • Knowledge in accounting and lending principles, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of Federal and State lending regulations and Bank policies related to lending procedures.
