About the role

  • Play a key role in driving performance improvement and change across the Wastewater directorate
  • Investigate processes, analyse corporate data, identify root causes, and develop practical, evidence-based solutions
  • Work closely with stakeholders at all levels – researching and interpreting data, coordinating site audits, mapping processes, identifying inefficiencies
  • Support the delivery of effective solutions by gathering and analysing data to produce clear, evidence‑based reports and strategic recommendations
  • Lead solution development projects with cross‑functional teams, diagnosing root causes and improving inefficient processes and systems
  • Develop plans and procedures that support operational effectiveness, efficiency improvements, and compliance/pollution reduction initiatives

Requirements

  • Excellent communicator, able to build credibility, influence behaviour, and engage senior stakeholders
  • Effective problem-solver who can identify issues early and drive meaningful business improvements
  • Critical thinker with strong attention to detail and a fresh perspective on existing processes
  • Proactive, decisive, and comfortable anticipating risks and driving solutions to completion
