About the role
- Manage a branch staff with three or more employees
- Responsible for day-to-day operations including customer service, product sales, and security
- Provide leadership, training, and supervision to staff
- Supervise all teller operations for accuracy, efficiency, and customer service
- Prepare various reports including Currency Transaction Reports and IRS Reports
- Manage vault function, including cash calculations and securing deposits
- Manage ATM operations and ensure cash availability
- Review procedures and recommend changes for improved service
- Assist consumer loan customers and perform thorough loan feasibility analysis
- Prepare detailed loan proposals and communicate loan decisions to customers
- Complete all required training and perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Two years of extensive experience in a banking environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in banking compliance
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers
- Ability to operate a computer proficiently
- Basic math skills (ability to add and subtract)
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Experience in a supervisor or management role is a plus
- Prior experience assisting with training new employees
