Business Operations

• This is a hands-on role. You will design, build and continuously improve the operational spine that enables Sound Brazil to scale: order-to-cash, credit, customer service, supply chain and financial operations — integrated into a single efficient operating model.
• Your mission: ensure that, as we grow, operations are never the reason we slow down.
• You will not have a team reporting to you. You will personally build processes, coordinate external partners and resolve the operational challenges that support our growth.
• You will work closely with the Sales team and the Marketing Manager, and directly with the GM. In finance and credit you will partner directly with our CFO and her team in the U.S.
• At Sound we build our own internal applications with AI, and we already do this today: commercial tools, operational workflows and dashboards.
• In this position you will work the same way. Instead of writing specifications and waiting for a system, you will use AI to build, test and improve the tools that run our operation.

Business Operations Manager

Outside Sales

• Build and develop a best-in-class sales team by recruiting, training, and mentoring high-performing sales professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Manage employee performance by creating clear expectations and coaching individuals on gaps in skills and/or abilities required for success.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and quarterly check-ins with sales team members to assess progress towards individual development goals, both professional and personal, providing constructive feedback and guidance for ongoing growth and success.
• Perform weekly/bi-weekly 1-on-1s with the members of your team to provide them with support, offer guidance on forecasting, building and managing sales plans, pipeline management, dealer activation, and general coaching.
• Conducting regular coaching sessions focused on refining pitch delivery. Perform monthly ride-alongs to visit accounts and customers, offering real-time feedback and guidance to enhance sales performance and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Meet or exceed your team’s sales goals for Sound’s nutrient efficiency business—today two products under the SOURCE brand family and one licensed product from an external partner, but growing as we launch additional products and partnerships.
• Provide hands-on support to sales team members by assisting in deal strategy and tactics, and actively participating in closing deals.
• Build and manage relationships with key dealers to promote products and services that are in alignment with our mission and sales strategy.
• Ensure dealer and customer retention, growth, and increased use of SOURCE on the farm.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create content and launch digital and field campaigns to drive awareness for SOURCE across leading corn and soybean growing regions in the US.
• Collaborate with Technical Agronomy and Product Management to share feedback from the field, pilot new products, and refine the positioning of our portfolio to ensure that it aligns with our guidance for how to use SOURCE in the field to maximize customer ROI.

Director, Agricultural Field Sales

Manager

• Sales Enablement: Quarterly webinars, in-person workshops, or virtual training modules to keep dealers updated on product performance, regional best practices, and emerging agronomic trends
• Deliver in-depth analysis of end-of-season results to evaluate product performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for future improvements.
• Champion content creation for Sound Advice video series.
• Serve as a trusted agronomic advisor and thought leader for dealers and key growers, helping them adopt new approaches to nutrient efficiency, biological products, and soil health management.
• Ensure grower retention, satisfaction and increased use of our Sound products by advising on use, in-season observations, and end-of-year evaluation.
• Core Agronomy Activities: Train and enable the sales team to position and sell Sound’s portfolio as effective tools for nutrient efficiency and synthetic fertilizer replacement, using case studies, ROI data, and clear agronomic insights.
• Design, implement, and manage trial protocols with growers and research partners to generate data on product efficacy, placement, and value for both existing and new product opportunities.
• Identify and evaluate new product and crop opportunities to diversify Sound’s portfolio, supporting expansion into additional markets beyond corn and soy.
• Stay ahead of industry developments by actively networking, engaging in professional development, and monitoring agronomic research and competitive innovations.
• Provide in-field agronomic support during planting, growing, and harvest seasons to ensure optimal placement, maximize yield potential, and minimize fertility waste.
• Translate trial and field data into actionable insights for both internal teams and external partners, strengthening product positioning and adoption.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to create agronomic content (training materials, placement guides, performance summaries) that equips dealers and RSMs with practical tools to grow adoption.

Agronomy Manager – NE & IA

Sales

• Build and execute plans to achieve sales goals in assigned territory
• Work with existing dealers in your territory to retain customers (ie farmers) and grow those accounts year-over-year
• Creatively break into net new dealer accounts in your assigned territory, introducing them to SOURCE and BLUEPRINT
• Seek to uncover sales opportunities with tenacity and connect customers to a value-added solution
• Work with sales leadership to build and maintain accurate forecasts and account planning
• Train Dealers on new products and programs
• Drive Grower awareness through co-selling, trade shows, and meetings
• On farm presence and support after the sale to build relationships and maintain customers
