Supply Chain

• Oversee selection and contracting of third party manufacturers for domestic (75%) and international (25%) FF&P
• Accountable for the technology transfer and technical support for our formulation processing
• Accountable for Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality audits prior to manufacture to ensure third party facilities meet Sound standards.
• Ensure all raw materials and packaging are acquired in a cost efficient, timely manner. Establishes specifications for raw materials and packaging goods.
• Establish third party warehousing to support FF&P activities and store raw materials / packaging.
• Accountable for the SRM activities supporting FF&P
• Negotiations for line time and pricing
• Manage inventory of raw materials and packaging including disposal of obsolete, expired and damaged inventory. Disposal of obsolete finished goods.
• For Primary distribution of finished goods both domestically and internationally
• Collaborates with R&D for the for the third party development of formulations supporting field trials and commercial sales
• Set criteria for formulation design from an FF&P perspective
• Collaborates in the design and development of the supply HSEQ strategy; leads the tactical implementation and is accountable for ongoing execution/performance/success in both AI production and FF&P
• Accountable for the quality management and quality control activities supported by the R&D organization
• Manage and grow the quality activities inline with organizational growth
• Support customer service customer complaint process

Senior Supply Chain Manager

Sales

• Build and execute plans to achieve sales goals in assigned territory
• Work with existing dealers in your territory to retain customers (ie farmers) and grow those accounts year-over-year
• Creatively break into net new dealer accounts in your assigned territory, introducing them to SOURCE and BLUEPRINT
• Seek to uncover sales opportunities with tenacity and connect customers to a value-added solution
• Work with sales leadership to build and maintain accurate forecasts and account planning
• Train Dealers on new products and programs
• Drive Grower awareness through co-selling, trade shows, and meetings
• On farm presence and support after the sale to build relationships and maintain customers
• Manage selling expenses, operational budget, and marketing funds within guidelines
• Use Salesforce to track activities and capture customer and dealer sentiment
• Work cross-functionally to resolve customer complaints

Regional Sales Manager

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Serve as executive partner to CEO and leadership team, providing financial information and operational analytics
• Develop and steward Sound’s financial strategy to maximize revenue growth while moving towards near-term profitability
• Lead FP&A including annual operating budgets, cash and working capital (A/R, A/P) management, forecasts, budget-variance process, and scenario analyses
• Represent financial performance to the Board, lead Risk & Audit Sub-Committee, and attend Board meetings
• Oversee audits, budgeting, monthly performance reporting, cash runway strategies, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Connect financial health to manufacturing and supply operations; support logistics, warehousing, and returns
• Optimize supply and demand forecasts, improve S&OP process, and lead supply chain strategy for new markets (LATAM and EU)
• Engage in manufacturing partnerships and support M&A opportunities
• Manage corporate and commercial legal activities and company vendors
• Supervise finance and accounting team and manage legal and IT vendors; reports to the CEO

Senior Vice President, Finance and Operations

Manager

The Agronomy Manager is a high-impact field-facing role at the center of Sound’s mission to change how the world thinks about crop nutrition. Working side-by-side with Regional Sales Managers, commercial team members, and dealers, this position is all about turning science into action, helping dealers learn how to get the most out of every acre by deploying Sound’s technology.
Half the Agronomy Manager’s time is dedicated to sales enablement and external engagement: leading dealer workshops and grower meetings, unpacking end-of-season results, creating content for our Sound platforms, and delivering in-field agronomy training that builds dealer and grower confidence.
The other half focuses on core agronomy activities: training our sales team to position Sound’s portfolio, managing field trials with growers and partners, vetting new crop and product opportunities, and providing hands-on support during planting and harvest.
This role is a great fit for someone who likes being out front with people, whether that’s leading dealers and growers into new agronomic practices or presenting results and insights to various audiences. At the same time, it’s for someone who thrives in the behind-the-scenes work: walking fields one-on-one, having real conversations with growers and dealers, and ensuring our pipeline stays full with strong product concepts and the data to back them up.
The Agronomy Manager role is based remotely within the assigned territory and requires 40% +/- travel with seasonal fluctuations. The role reports to the VP, Agronomy.
