About the role

  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing governance of the executive compensation framework
  • Oversee management of external advisors to ensure competitive and strategy-aligned pay
  • Develop and approve performance metrics, targets, vesting conditions, and payout rules that reflect risk considerations and shareholder expectations
  • Manage the remuneration disclosure process and regulatory reporting for the Swiss listing
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable rules
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to translate strategy into effective pay programs
  • Ensure data integrity, privacy, governance controls, and risk management across all compensation processes
  • Monitor governance and disclosure changes and advise on required policy and process updates
  • Manage relationships with remuneration consultants and internal stakeholders; prepare Board-ready materials for presentation to the Nomination and Compensation Committee

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years in executive compensation design and governance within a listed or multinational company
  • English fluency and proficiency in German
  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Law, or a related field
  • Advanced Degree (MBA, LLM, or equivalent) and additional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) that support financial acumen are preferred
  • Professional designation in compensation or HR (e.g., CCP/CIPD) or relevant governance certifications
  • Deep expertise in executive compensation design (short- and long-term incentives), market benchmarking, financial modeling, and governance risk
  • Strong data analytics and governance mindset
  • Familiarity with remuneration-related audit and internal control processes
  • Experience with Swiss regulatory reporting and SIX disclosure requirements
  • Experience with compensation systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau)
  • Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and influencing skills
  • Experienced in communicating effectively with the Executive Committee and Board
  • Strong ethical judgment, high integrity, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information
  • Strategic thinker with project leadership capability; proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive change.
