About the role

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calling, email sequencing, and LinkedIn engagement to generate qualified leads for the Technology Account Executives
  • Rapidly respond to and qualify inbound leads generated from marketing campaigns, trade shows, and the Sonny's website
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand the prospect’s pain points and map them to the technology solutions
  • Maintain meticulous records in Salesforce , ensuring data integrity and accurate forecasting of the technology pipeline
  • Collaborate with the field sales team to build quotations and manage the sales process for projects
  • Partner closely with the Equipment Sales team and "Sonny’s University" to identify cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base
  • Act as a feedback loop for the product team by capturing competitive intel and common objections from the field

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, or Inside Sales (SaaS or POS hardware experience is a significant plus)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple, value-based manner
  • A high-energy, "hunter" mentality with the ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive, professional attitude
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), prospecting tools (Salesloft/Outreach), and the ability to quickly master the Quivio/POS interface
