About the role

  • Management, representation and continuous development of the laboratory sites in Karlsruhe and Leinfelden-Echterdingen in cooperation with the holding company, local management and the laboratory physicians
  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of the physicians working at the sites
  • Competent, service-oriented medical support for our referring clinicians in all areas of laboratory medicine and active participation in expanded referrer support tasks
  • Technical oversight and further development of the laboratory's methodological repertoire, evaluation and implementation of new methods and instruments
  • Optimization of work organization and quality management

Requirements

  • Authorization to practice medicine (Approbation)
  • Completed specialist training in Laboratory Medicine, recognized in Germany
  • Several years of leadership experience in the medical field
  • Understanding of economic and business contexts
  • Sense of responsibility and cost-awareness, entrepreneurial mindset, initiative and strong communication skills
  • Interest in developments and innovations in modern laboratory diagnostics
  • Excellent written and spoken German
