About the role

  • Design, build and further develop central IT infrastructures in the data center
  • Operation, securing and monitoring of central applications
  • Technical support of central applications including release management, interface operation (HL7, LDT) and performance monitoring
  • 2nd-level support for central applications
  • Technical operations documentation and ensuring system stability
  • Administration and hardening of Windows systems in the data center
  • Planning, implementation, securing, operation and monitoring of the central network infrastructure
  • Participation in the design, planning, coordination and implementation of central IT projects
  • Introduction and operation of new central services and software solutions
  • Implementation of data protection and IT security requirements in a medical environment (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001)

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or degree in IT, or an equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in IT customer support as well as in the administration and monitoring of Windows servers
  • Relevant expertise in system and network administration
  • Knowledge of VMware and Nutanix, firewall management and Windows administration
  • Experience working with medical specialist applications
  • Knowledge of HL7, LDT or comparable medical interface formats is desirable
  • Methodical, goal-oriented working style, personal responsibility and team orientation
  • Ability to collaborate in a structured way with non-technical departments (e.g., pathologists, quality management)
