About the role
- Develop, execute, and analyze revenue strategies for RLH and its franchisees
- Design analyses, collect and prepare data, and incorporate business context and logic
- Execute analyses, draw conclusions, and identify next steps and recommendations
- Manage and enhance the connectivity that delivers revenue for franchise properties
- Support a portfolio of hotels with sales and marketing advice and reporting
- Act as a trusted adviser to the franchise revenue management team and work closely with internal Revenue Management team
- Build templates, SOPs, and presentations to support property and franchise initiatives
- Maintain focus on improving return on invested capital for stakeholders
Requirements
- Passion for the hospitality industry
- Strong analytical thinker with the ability to draw conclusions from data
- Understanding of Excel, especially analytics and modeling (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables)
- Demonstrated use within data visualizers such as Power BI and Tableau preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of Information Technology relating to sales and revenue and property management systems (including SynXis, SHR Windsurfer, OPERA, Visual Matrix)
- Experience in building professional templates, SOP’s, and Power Points
- Bachelor’s degree in Econ, stats, math, finance or 1+ years of experience in hotel revenue management or closely aligned discipline(s)
- 1+ years of revenue management or data analytics
- Analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated
- Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding project management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to champion initiatives internally and externally
- Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders and external agencies
