About the role
- Own the full referral partnership development process with medium to large health systems, from prospecting through referral readiness and initial referral activation
- Build and execute thoughtful, research driven outreach plans tailored to reach health system and market
- Lead discovery conversations focused on understanding referral workflows, care gaps, decision criteria, and operational readiness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders through activation
- Maintain accurate CRM records and partner status updates
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers and cross functional partners
- Research and prioritize health system targets using Definitive Healthcare and similar tools
- Analyze referral potential and market dynamics to guide targeting and messaging
- Share insights with sales leadership to inform partnership strategy
- Track outreach and referral performance and recommend adjustments as needed
- Support business development initiatives led by senior sales leaders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in partnership development or business development, ideally within health or health tech
- Strong relationships building skills with the ability to establish trust across various audiences
- Comfortable engaging health system stakeholders through thoughtful outreach and discovery rather than high volume sales motions
- Strong analytical and market research skills
- Understanding of the nuances of healthcare data, industry insights, and partner intelligence strongly preferred
- Strong executive communication skills, to communicate findings and insights clearly to senior leaders
- Comfortable working independently and owning day to day progress
