Learn treasury operations related activities such as bank account reconciliations, deal confirmation and settlements in the EMEA region and In-House-Bank.
Support the team in monitoring and reporting the bank fees and learn more about banking systems and international business involving multi-currency transactions.
Cash & forex management: Cash release to banks requested by Corporate Treasury and other departments; check FX exposure & counterparty risks in the respect of the limits set by Risk Management and daily bank account reconciliations.
Compliance of Treasury operations with group governance, global & local regulation and follow-up internal controls in scope.
Review bank fees statements & follow up of fees discrepancies with contracts and contribute to Treasury project (Data management review, account rationalization, implementation of SAP4HANA).

Requirements

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Finance.
Fluency in English.
Google/Microsoft Suites knowledge (with SAP as a plus).
Familiarity with the requirements and complexities of global payments transactions (of which Swift, banking tools…) is a plus.
Extremely rigorous and act with a high degree of integrity and ethics, in daily contact with banking partners of Solvay Group.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly analytical with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
