Overseeing the transportation, warehousing, packaging, and unloading/loading operations and making sure they all operate in a safe and efficient way while maintaining compliance with all regulations.
Direct reporting responsibility for leading a team of approximately 10 site logistics operators responsible for loading, packaging, and shipping finished products at the plant.
Coordinating daily with the site team, including production, maintenance, quality and safety, to ensure efficient operations.
Planning & coordinating the movement of raw materials, finished products and packaging operations on-site with safety as the top priority.
Implementing supply chain improvement projects at the site level, including digital incentives for SAP, APS and TMS.

Requirements

Relevant education degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration, supply chain/logistics.
Relevant work experience in a chemical plant.
Knowledge of supply chain process and best practices
Production scheduling experience
ERP and planning systems experience (SAP, TNS, OMP experience is a plus)
