About the role
- Develop and execute account plans, including forecasts.
- Develop forecasts at the appropriate level of accuracy to enable inventory management, financial performance, and achievement of service levels for customers.
- Deploy Sales Excellence methodologies and tools.
- Maintain up-to-date information about customers and competitors within the assigned territory and provide regular local market intelligence to the Business Director and Marketing team.
- Develop and manage a Phenol and P&I customer portfolio in Brazil.
- Develop and manage a co‑products customer portfolio and oversee product allocation on a worldwide basis.
- Plan and lead contract negotiations and close deals.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proactively manage pricing targets.
Requirements
- Relevant degree or equivalent in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Business (Administration or Economics).
- At least 5 years of sales experience in the chemical industry.
- Proven experience managing key accounts and contracts.
- Experience in foreign trade (international trade).
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
- Hands-on mentality and strong negotiation skills.
