About the role

  • Develop and execute account plans, including forecasts.
  • Develop forecasts at the appropriate level of accuracy to enable inventory management, financial performance, and achievement of service levels for customers.
  • Deploy Sales Excellence methodologies and tools.
  • Maintain up-to-date information about customers and competitors within the assigned territory and provide regular local market intelligence to the Business Director and Marketing team.
  • Develop and manage a Phenol and P&I customer portfolio in Brazil.
  • Develop and manage a co‑products customer portfolio and oversee product allocation on a worldwide basis.
  • Plan and lead contract negotiations and close deals.
  • Manage customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage pricing targets.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or equivalent in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Business (Administration or Economics).
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the chemical industry.
  • Proven experience managing key accounts and contracts.
  • Experience in foreign trade (international trade).
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Hands-on mentality and strong negotiation skills.
