💰 $25 - $31 per hour
About the role
- Perform field maintenance and follow safe work practices in the solar industry.
- Service solar equipment in multiple solar plants under supervision.
- Perform basic solar equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Respond “on‐call” as directed by supervisor to assist in emergency equipment repairs.
- Prepare accurate documentation and required reports of work performed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or equivalent.
- Vocational/Technical School training a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment.
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Demonstrated basic understanding of a solar installation/plant.
- Basic computer operation skills.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Obtain NFPA 70e Safety Training certification.
- Effective verbal and written English language communication skills.
