About the role

  • The IT Operational Security Advisor will be responsible for:
  • Categorizing assets according to their criticality and usage
  • Conducting internal risk analyses
  • Supervising risk analyses performed by other contractors
  • Operating security systems and managing security data
  • Analyzing existing security controls and recommending improvements
  • Defining current and future security architectures
  • Managing security incidents related to IT infrastructure
  • Analyzing client requests related to network security
  • Developing and overseeing the implementation of security measures
  • Ensuring coordination between different stakeholders and contracts
  • Participating in technology decommissioning activities (log collection, intrusion detection, etc.)

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Engineering
  • Hold at least one of the following IT security certifications: CompTIA, CISSP, CCSP, SSCP, CISA, CRISC, CEH, GSEC, ISACA, SANS, (ISC)², ISO 27001, PECB ISO/IEC 27005 Senior Lead Risk Manager, or PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Senior Lead Implementer
  • Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in information technology or telecommunications
  • Demonstrate participation as an operational security advisor on at least one project with a minimum scope of 500 person-days
  • The resource's participation must include a minimum of 440 person-days of experience as an operational security advisor, of which at least 220 days were performed in information technology, radiocommunications, or telecommunications
