About the role
- Develop training solutions and instructional materials for aircrew programs.
- Analyze training needs, risks, and issues.
- Assist in aligning training plans and instructional solutions with aircraft engineering teams and operational training centre teams.
- Support the development of end-user CONOPs (Concepts of Operations) describing how each aircraft integrates into the training solution.
- Create module plans for the development of instructional materials.
- Participate in the development and production of computer-guided training features (CGT, Maestro) and Interactive Media Instruction (IMI).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with ACSO/AES-qualified course programs for the Canadian Forces; 10+ years of operational experience in the Air Force.
- Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance with access to NATO SECRET documents and comply with ITAR requirements.
- Skills: Hands-on development, technical aptitude, strong communication skills, change management, risk analysis, project reporting, collaborative teamwork.
- Able to work with cross-functional and remote teams. Instructor experience is an asset. Experience in program design and/or management is an asset. Background in learning sciences and/or instructional design is an asset. Bilingualism is an asset.
