About the role
- Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in civil and commercial litigation matters, as well as in construction disputes.
- Draft memoranda, pleadings, procedural documents, and other legal materials in accordance with established standards.
- Represent clients at hearings and during judicial proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support litigation strategies.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Qualifications:
- Law degree and member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec.
- 1–3 years of experience in civil, commercial and/or construction litigation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English.
- Ability to work independently while contributing constructively as a team member.
- Analytical mindset and creative problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work on varied files and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
