About the role
- Identify, qualify, and close new Bitcoin mining customers
- Own a revenue target tied to contracted MWs, hosting revenue, and account expansion
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline across institutional and growth-stage miners
- Negotiate commercial agreements including pricing, term length, deployment timelines, and performance terms
- Build executive-level relationships with miner leadership teams
- Drive fleet expansion, contract renewals, and term extensions
- Shape commercial strategy by monitoring BTC market dynamics
- Provide market intelligence to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with Operations, Energy, and Finance teams
- Represent Soluna at conferences and industry events
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic account management
- Direct experience in Bitcoin mining, digital asset infrastructure, or adjacent energy markets
- Demonstrated ability to close complex, multi-million dollar infrastructure or energy-related deals
- Strong understanding of BTC mining economics (hashprice sensitivity, fleet efficiency, uptime economics, hosting margin dynamics)
- Experience negotiating long-term commercial contracts
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Financial and analytical rigor; comfortable modeling deal economics
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior decision-makers
- High resilience and adaptability in volatile market environments
- Strong interest in renewable energy and infrastructure markets.
