About the role

  • Support the configuration and management of routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Assist with basic network support, including VPNs and network security.
  • Participate in activities related to administration of operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian).
  • Help with user, group, disk, and partition management tasks.
  • Contribute to software installation, configuration, and updates.
  • Explore simple scripting using PowerShell or Bash.
  • Support virtualization activities with VMware vSphere.
  • Assist with the setup of basic cloud services (AWS and Azure).
  • Help organize and document internal infrastructure processes.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or technical program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Reside in Porto Alegre or the surrounding metropolitan area.
  • Desired knowledge in Networking: Basic understanding of routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Desired knowledge in Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian).
  • Desired knowledge in user management, disks, partitions, and software installation.
  • Desired knowledge in Scripting: Basic experience with PowerShell or Bash.
  • Desired knowledge in Virtualization: Familiarity with VMware vSphere.
  • Desired knowledge in Cloud Computing: Basic understanding of AWS and Azure.
