About the role

  • Lead the design of modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Medallion, etc.) for analytical and operational environments;
  • Work closely with engineering, BI, Data Science, and Generative AI teams to ensure technical cohesion and alignment with business objectives;
  • Define standards for data modeling, ingestion, processing, and data governance;
  • Support the construction of scalable pipelines using DataOps and CI/CD practices;
  • Make technical decisions based on hands-on data engineering experience;
  • Conduct technical reviews and support tool selection and best practices;
  • Interact with business stakeholders and client executive teams to recommend appropriate and sustainable solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data architecture on high-complexity projects;
  • Strong background in data engineering, with hands-on experience in ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and deployment of pipelines;
  • Expertise in data modeling (relational, dimensional, and event-driven/event-based);
  • Experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure;
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem tools:
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Azure Data Lake
  • Azure SQL / SQL Server
  • Power BI
  • Purview, Fabric (desirable);
  • Knowledge of data governance practices, LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), data lineage, and cataloging;
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary squads from a technical perspective;
  • Good communication skills and a product-oriented mindset.
  • Microsoft data certifications (DP-203, DP-500, DP-600, DP-700, etc.);
  • Experience with AI projects, MLOps, and intelligent automation;
  • Experience with multicloud environments.
