Solutions Engineer

• Lead and develop a team of Solutions Architects across different regions and time zones responsible for driving customer adoption, retention, and expansion of Solo products and platform capabilities.
• Deliver on customer facing projects of varying complexity and scope depending on the needs of our customers such as initial onboarding, complex upgrades or architectural changes.

• Proactively drive product adoption by identifying new use cases and surfacing opportunities for customers to gain more value from the Solo.io product suite.
• Consult with customers on architectural best practices, performance tuning, and operational excellence in their Solo.io deployments.
• Design and deliver tailored training sessions, workshops, and enablement content to grow customer self-sufficiency.
• Champion the customer inside Solo.io — translating their needs into actionable feedback for Product Management and Engineering.
• Partner with the account team (CSM, AE, SE) to identify and manage technical risk, renewal health, and expansion opportunities.

• Own business growth and market expansion for geographic region across both the cloud native connectivity suite (Gloo Gateway, Gloo Mesh) and the agentic infrastructure suite (agentgateway, kagent, agentregistry)
• Develop collaborative relationships with Customers, Solution Engineering, SDR, Engineering, Marketing, and Legal teams
• Coordinate and manage prospect activities including POCs, demos, trials, and architecture reviews
• Demonstrated experience successfully implementing systems and tactics that have wider impact on team
• Commands the technical domain of service mesh, cloud infrastructure, AI agent infrastructure, security, and adjacent markets
• Establish and implement a consistent, repeatable process; mentors peers in the process
• Self-starter on staying current with fast-moving additions to Solo.io products and related technologies — including emerging AI protocols like MCP and A2A — such that you're able to converse and write about them fluently
• Partner with Solutions Engineering to evangelize Solo.io products and related technology through attending speaking engagements (conferences, meetups, webinars) and promoting content (blogs, articles) as needed
• Identify and engage platform engineering, AI/ML, and DevOps personas who are navigating the challenge of bringing agentic AI to production in regulated, large-scale environments

• Own and improve the UI and UX of React Typescript Vite web applications that connect to Go and Rust APIs on Kubernetes.
• Gather and analyze requirements across GitHub and Slack to inform design and implementation.
