About the role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate new markets and grow the customer base for Automotive DMS solutions.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales strategies with overall company goals and objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on new business acquisition.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs within the automotive sector.
- Drive the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a high conversion rate of leads to customers.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment in messaging and offerings.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for executive leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the automotive technology or software industry.
- Proven track record of driving new business sales and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of Automotive DMS systems and the automotive dealership landscape.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
