About the role

  • Acquire new customers and generate new business
  • Minimize customer churn
  • Increase customer profitability and ensure enforcement of price increases
  • Secure customers through high-quality and efficient system concepts
  • Negotiate and oversee customer-specific service contracts
  • Achieve agreed performance targets
  • Train and coach customer personnel
  • Perform service tasks and permitted technical service repairs
  • Maximize range sales (cross-selling) and promote sales of products and systems from other business areas

Requirements

  • Background in the brewing, beverage, food, or dairy industry (additional qualification as engineer/technician/master welcome) or equivalent level, plus chemical/technical knowledge and an understanding of hygiene
  • Ideally already successful in sales or interested in transitioning into a sales role
  • Knowledge of the food industry/food sector
  • Outgoing personality and a confident presence with customers
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment
  • Reliability and an independent working style, with the ability to work successfully in a team
  • Enthusiasm, ambition and dedication
