About the role
- Acquire new customers and generate new business
- Minimize customer churn
- Increase customer profitability and ensure enforcement of price increases
- Secure customers through high-quality and efficient system concepts
- Negotiate and oversee customer-specific service contracts
- Achieve agreed performance targets
- Train and coach customer personnel
- Perform service tasks and permitted technical service repairs
- Maximize range sales (cross-selling) and promote sales of products and systems from other business areas
- Collaborate with supervisors on customer support and new customer acquisition
Requirements
- Background in the brewing, beverage, food, or dairy industry (additional qualification as engineer/technician/master welcome) or equivalent level, plus chemical/technical knowledge and an understanding of hygiene
- Ideally already successful in sales or interested in transitioning into a sales role
- Knowledge of the food industry/food sector
- Outgoing personality and a confident presence with customers
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment
- Reliability and an independent working style, with the ability to work successfully in a team
- Enthusiasm, ambition and dedication
