About the role

  • As a BDR, you are the face of Solarize and the first, decisive contact for our future partners.
  • You lay the foundation for our sales success and contribute directly to our growth.
  • You will become an expert in the energy market: you identify trends, analyze competitors, and uncover new growth opportunities that directly influence our sales and product strategy.
  • You build a high-quality pipeline: through targeted research and creative outbound strategies (phone, email, LinkedIn, but also webinars or trade shows) you identify the future market leaders in the energy and real estate sectors and bring them on board with our vision.
  • In initial conversations you understand the challenges of our prospective customers, spark their interest, and qualify them for the next step in our sales process.
  • In close collaboration with the CEO, marketing, and Account Executives you test new strategies and help us continuously improve our sales playbook.

Requirements

  • The drive and motivation to launch a career in tech sales and master a steep learning curve.
  • Strong communication skills, enjoyment of phone outreach, and a professional, confident demeanor in direct customer contact.
  • A desire to improve every day — both professionally and personally.
  • You are curious, open to feedback, and proactive.
  • A degree in (technical) business administration or a comparable field of study.
  • Excellent German language skills at native level (C2), both written and spoken.
  • Some experience in outbound sales (B2B SaaS) or another customer-facing role. (Nice-to-have)
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and other sales tools. (Nice-to-have)
  • A basic understanding of or interest in the energy or real estate industry. (Nice-to-have)
  • Good English skills. (Nice-to-have)
