About the role

  • Build and manage the Italian site and operational network
  • Identify and develop partnerships with local waste management companies, logistics providers, authorities and energy companies
  • Market analysis: regulatory requirements, competitive landscape and business opportunities
  • Support the search for suitable operating sites and service providers
  • Develop and implement local market entry strategies
  • Work closely with the German team (Operations, Marketing, Legal, Tech)
  • Represent the company at trade shows, events and in public

Requirements

  • Experience in business development, project management or setting up operations, ideally in the circular economy, solar energy, environmental engineering or logistics
  • Good knowledge of the Italian market, especially in waste management, renewables or cleantech
  • Preferably experience in the development of solar parks or an existing network with relevant stakeholders in this market
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on attitude and strong sense of ownership
  • Native-level Italian and business-fluent German and English
  • Residence in Italy and willingness to travel regularly expected
