About the role
- Build and manage the Italian site and operational network
- Identify and develop partnerships with local waste management companies, logistics providers, authorities and energy companies
- Market analysis: regulatory requirements, competitive landscape and business opportunities
- Support the search for suitable operating sites and service providers
- Develop and implement local market entry strategies
- Work closely with the German team (Operations, Marketing, Legal, Tech)
- Represent the company at trade shows, events and in public
Requirements
- Experience in business development, project management or setting up operations, ideally in the circular economy, solar energy, environmental engineering or logistics
- Good knowledge of the Italian market, especially in waste management, renewables or cleantech
- Preferably experience in the development of solar parks or an existing network with relevant stakeholders in this market
- Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on attitude and strong sense of ownership
- Native-level Italian and business-fluent German and English
- Residence in Italy and willingness to travel regularly expected
