About the role
- Perform damage tolerance analyses on primary structural elements (PSE)
- Provide recommendations on aircraft structural design concepts and repair solutions
- Develop fatigue spectra
- Validate damage tolerance analyses against experimental test results
- Support the development of the maintenance manual in collaboration with technical publications and maintenance engineering teams
- Collaborate with suppliers, ensuring compliance with program methodology and technical requirements
- Review supplier reports and analyses
- Prepare certification reports
Requirements
- **YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS** 💎
- - You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- - You have at least five (5) years of experience in stress analysis of metallic aircraft structures, primarily as an airframe fatigue and damage tolerance specialist
- - Knowledge of software such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO, CATIA V5, MS Office and Google Suite is mandatory
- - Previous experience working on an aircraft development program or in-service support, including certification activities, is an asset
- - Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques is an asset
- - You have a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and are a team player
- - You possess good communication skills
- - You must be able to read and communicate in both French and English
