About the role
- You are one of the primary points of contact for our prospects and take responsibility for the sales lead and communication
- You identify prospects' needs and play a key role in acquiring new customers
- You research potential prospects and customers in collaboration with our pre-sales team
- You document presentations, phone calls and visits in our CRM system
- You schedule and coordinate appointments for the sales team
- You represent the company at trade fairs, roundtables, networking events, etc.
- You manage the entire sales cycle from lead handover to contract closure.
Requirements
- Commercial or vocational training, or equivalent qualifications
- Solid knowledge of current IT technologies and software products, especially ERP and CRM
- Experience with initial outreach to potential customers
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel and enjoyment of field sales
- Enthusiasm, assertiveness and an outgoing personality
- Service-oriented approach and customer focus
- Ability to work independently and as an active team member
- Knowledge of the IT industry and the agriculture and food sectors is an advantage
