About the role

  • You are one of the primary points of contact for our prospects and take responsibility for the sales lead and communication
  • You identify prospects' needs and play a key role in acquiring new customers
  • You research potential prospects and customers in collaboration with our pre-sales team
  • You document presentations, phone calls and visits in our CRM system
  • You schedule and coordinate appointments for the sales team
  • You represent the company at trade fairs, roundtables, networking events, etc.
  • You manage the entire sales cycle from lead handover to contract closure.

Requirements

  • Commercial or vocational training, or equivalent qualifications
  • Solid knowledge of current IT technologies and software products, especially ERP and CRM
  • Experience with initial outreach to potential customers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel and enjoyment of field sales
  • Enthusiasm, assertiveness and an outgoing personality
  • Service-oriented approach and customer focus
  • Ability to work independently and as an active team member
  • Knowledge of the IT industry and the agriculture and food sectors is an advantage
