The AWS Sales Manager for the AWS Agency Model plays a critical role in hiring, onboarding and managing an AWS sales team
These sales teams will have a direct impact on growing Softchoice’s customer base and deepening those relationships through services attached
Role is hybrid with the expectation of working in your local office once a week
Report to and collaborate with the Softchoice AWS Sr Manager to ensure this sales team becomes an onramp for new customer acquisition and demand generation
Build strategic relationships with your AWS counterpart supporting their territory and account managers
Build and manage a team of dedicated AWS Account Executives who will actively pursue onboarding new AWS customers and creating value through selling Softchoice AWS services
Help develop and manage the sales management process that activates a group of direct report AWS account executives to achieve growth targets set through the AWS agency funding investment
Ensure pipeline health and pipeline conversion is achieved; ensure Salesforce.com hygiene and processes are followed; provide forecast reporting, pipeline review and regular communications
Define and document the agency sales team's processes and workflows for new account acquisition, including qualification, deal management and handoff to the sales teams
Act as a mentor and coach: conduct annual performance reviews, participate in merit process, and ensure all team members have actively managed career development plans
Goals include hiring open roles, activating/onboarding new team members, hitting strategic objectives (new customers, services wins), and leveling up the team with coaching and training
Requirements
3+ years sales leadership experience within the technology industry
