About the role
- Leading the architecture direction around data capabilities and solution architectures that require architecture oversight.
- Ensuring alignment of initiative-level high and low designs against the data/tech architecture standards and strategy and governing adherence to our key principles in this space.
- Understanding our data structures and initiatives to support data platforms, applications and solutions, as well as champion new solutions for existing groups who leverage the capabilities.
- Work with Agile Squads, Business, and Stakeholders to investigate & perform data analysis for the purposes of creating new solutions.
- Communicate designs and explain design features and alternative approaches to internal consumers.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience as an Information Technology Architect designing end to end data solutions, ideally within an enterprise.
- 15+ years of experience designing and implementing data warehouses, data marts, OLTP solutions, with emphasis on hybrid or cloud native implementations.
- 15+ years of experience with data governance frameworks, reference architecture, technical roadmaps & solution blueprints.
- 10+ years of experience with Agile methodologies & architecture governance.
- TOGAF experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- 10+ years of experience with data migrations, application modernization, proof of concept experiments and requirements gathering.
- 10+ years of experience leveraging data management tooling (Alteryx, Informatica, Talend, Fivetran, etc.)
- 10+ years of experience with stakeholders management and presenting solutions to mixed technical | non-technical audiences.
- 10+ years of experience writing high-performing SQL, and complex queries.
- 5+ years of experience hands on coding in C#, C++, .Net, Java, or equivalent programming languages (not scripting).
- 5+ years of experience working in cloud-based technology environments, preferably AWS & Snowflake.
- Exposure and experience with additional cloud providers is nice to have.
