Manager

• As a Senior Manager, Government Affairs, you'll be a key external leader on our Policy and Government Affairs team.
• You will be responsible for shaping and executing SoFi's government relations strategy, directly advocating for our priorities with policymakers, and managing a portfolio of relationships with key external organizations.
• You will work closely with our Senior Manager, Public Policy, who will provide internal policy support and analysis, ensuring our advocacy is well-informed and strategic for the benefits of our members.
• This role reports to the Director, Policy and Government Affairs.

Senior Manager, Government Affairs

Full-stack Engineer

• Contribute to the development, testing, and lifecycle of our Capital Markets, Investor Reporting, and Accounting systems and services, including related data pipelines and reporting functionality.
• Create well written technical documentation, including writing and contributing to design documents and POCs to plan out systems and functionality for our business partner use cases.
• Implement new functionality in our existing components for the team to leverage.
• Review and approve code in Gitlab.
• Identify inefficiencies, make recommendations for improvements to optimize processes, systems, and data flows.
• Foster effective communication with project leads, product managers, software developers, and data consumers.
• Support other engineers and the technical culture and help grow the team.
• Evangelize good, team best practices around data and team processes.

Software Engineer

• Lead platform implementations for cross-functional initiatives to meet Credit Card Business Units' goals and metrics.
• Control, maintain, and test First Data (now Fiserv) card platform PCF (Product Control File) and ACS (Adaptive Control System) settings for new and existing card products; translate business requirements into PCF settings and own the configuration of the core processing platform.
• Own administration responsibilities of multiple FDR - Now Fiserv systems
• Provide inputs to strengthen the credit card portfolio and controls on processes.
• Interpret platform data and help build reports to understand the overall business operational performance comprehensively.
• Partner with technology partners and business partners to understand and ensure the readiness and requirements of the platform
• Conduct regular reviews of the platform processes and procedures, identify improvement areas for better controls and/ or OpEX saves, and develop recommendations for change.
• Monitor platform key performance indicators and metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including business, technology, marketing, risk, legal, and compliance, to ensure that credit card systems and processes are implemented effectively and efficiently.
• Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
• Ensure that credit card operations and platform processes and procedures are documented, reviewed, and updated regularly to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project plans during and post-launch, send status reports, and maintain risk and issues logs.
• Ability to recognize and apply various regulatory parameters across credit card business workstreams.
• Develop test strategies and criteria and provide assistance with test plan creation, test execution, defect prioritization, and resolution.
• Manage and troubleshoot platform/processing system issues and drive mitigation, resolution, and controls to avoid repeated failures.
• Proactively minimize operational risk.
• Develop forward-thinking analysis to facilitate the generation of management reports and scaling of our automated processes.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Card Platform Manager

Compliance

• Create and maintain Physical Security, Internal Investigations, Executive Protection policies, standards, procedures and process documents.
• Manage all audit, regulatory requirements and interactions for Physical Security and Internal Investigations.
• Assist the Head of Global Security & Investigations in the development, implementation and supervision of operational, strategic and tactical planning.
• Manage all operation risk management requirements for all teams.
• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal company standards, including data privacy and protective intelligence requirements.
• Evaluate security risks posed by vendors and contractors.
• Create and manage risk registers, tracking, and reporting for security, executives, and corporate leadership.
• Own the issue management process for the entire Global Security & Investigation Team.
• Collaborate with Business Controls Testing to ensure all controls are operating effectively.
• Partner and work closely with the Internal Investigations Director.
• Partner and work closely with the Physical Security Senior Manager.
• Partner with the Site Leadership Team to plan and prepare for emergencies, including natural disasters, injury, workplace threat, etc.
• Effectively build relationships and communicate with key executive and employee stakeholders across the enterprise.
• Evaluate policy, standard, procedure, process document adherence.
• Analyze the root cause of compliance breaches.
• Assist in the management of incident response to mitigate risks.
• Collect and analyze data to create respective documentation and reports.
• Create and maintain dashboards to show a comprehensive overview of data from different sources, to include monitoring, measuring, and analyzing relevant data in key areas.
• Work closely with the Business Continuity Team to ensure business impact analysis compliance.
• Prepare materials for presentation to the General Counsel, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

Governance, Risk, Compliance Manager

Administration

• Take full ownership of our Employee Stock Purchase Plan, from enrollment and withdrawal to contribution reconciliations and global expansion.
• Act as the primary reviewer and approver for day-to-day operations, ensuring our Stock Plan Analyst’s work is flawless and compliant.
• Lead special projects that matter, including automation of manual flows, system integrations, and reducing SOPs for manual work.
• Operationalize SoFi’s employee mobility tax sourcing methodology, in partnership with the People Team, Payroll, and external vendors.
• Partner with the Senior Manager, Global Equity to design and deliver educational campaigns that help our employees truly understand the value of their LTI and ESPP opportunities.

Senior Stock Plan Administrator

Analyst

• Support early Business Banking initiatives and new capabilities by helping define analytical foundations, measurement approaches, and reporting standards from inception.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations teams to align inputs, coordinate work, and ensure analytical deliverables are delivered on time and inform business decisions.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate complex business problems into clear, data-informed business requirements and analytical inputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate customer needs, business performance, and industry trends, helping inform solution design and prioritization.
• Contribute to the development of decision frameworks that clarify tradeoffs, assess options, and support data-driven decision-making across Business Banking initiatives.
• Deliver the framework by collaborating with partners and leveraging data to drive exceptional client experience, best-in-class product, and market share.
• Ensure requirements from key stakeholders are captured early and partners are brought along, bought in, and set up for success.
• Act as a central owner for Business Banking to raise issues to senior leadership to resolve roadblocks proactively.
• Partner closely with Risk stakeholders to define, refine, and maintain key risk indicators (KRIs) and with Business Banking leadership to define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure business health, customer outcomes, and risk exposure.
• Establish clear metric definitions, data sources, and measurement standards to ensure consistency, accuracy, and trust in reported results.
• Monitor and interpret KPI and KRI performance over time, surfacing insights and implications that inform decision-making, prioritization, and risk-aware growth.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support senior leadership decision-making across Business Banking, drawing on internal performance data and external market and industry insights.
• Synthesize complex, multi-source analyses into clear, concise narratives that highlight key findings, implications, and recommended paths forward.
