About the role
- Lead end-to-end design processes for new and existing products, from discovery and research through prototyping, user testing, and final delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Customer Success) to define product requirements and translate them into elegant, user-centered solutions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that communicate design intent and interaction.
- Advocate for design best practices, accessibility, and a consistent design system across all products.
- Present design rationale and solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterating as needed.
- Mentor and support junior designers, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure Socure’s products remain innovative and competitive.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI, or a related discipline, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, high-impact design initiatives that influenced company strategy.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user experience, interaction design, and visual design.
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and prototyping tools.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams and collaborating with engineers and product managers.
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience mentoring or coaching other designers is a plus.
