About the role
- Lead commercial relationships and business performance with major national and regional grocery retailers and distributors.
- Own and manage relationships with major grocery retailers and key distributors.
- Lead joint business planning, including promotional strategy, category growth initiatives, and quarterly business reviews.
- Negotiate assortment, pricing, promotions, and trade terms to drive growth.
- Analyze syndicated and retailer data to inform strategy, forecasting, and business performance.
- Ability to travel up to 30% to customer headquarters, key markets, and industry trade shows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).
- 5+ years of Key Account Management experience in grocery retail.
- Experience with Key Accounts such as Kroger, Albertsons, H-E-B, Walmart, KeHE, UNFI.
- Strong retailer systems knowledge and promotional planning experience.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
