About the role
- Design and build server and cloud solutions across multi-region cloud and on-premise environments
- Provide technical expertise and leadership on implementation teams
- Deliver advanced administration and technical support for daily operations
- Analyze, evaluate, and recommend server and cloud technologies
- Leverage relationships with external service providers
- Conduct research and evaluate new enterprise technologies
- Participate in IT strategy, governance, and process management
- Apply advanced problem-solving skills
- Assess growth and project requirements for capacity planning
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT teams
- Drive positive employee experience through leadership and coaching
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Significant hands-on experience in enterprise design, build, and administration of server and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS a plus)
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administration (Red Hat Linux a plus)
- Skilled in Active Directory, ADFS, SCCM, VMware, Dell VxRail, Veeam, and Red Hat Satellite Server
- Experience with orchestration and automation tools such as Red Hat Ansible preferred
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Ability to quickly identify root causes, deliver efficient solutions, and mitigate risks
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new platforms and tools
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
