About the role
- Achieve the defined sales targets within the assigned territory
- Conduct customer analysis in the sales territory; plan and prioritize all sales activities and customer contacts
- Ensure the clinical- and value-based selling of our products and systems (Negative Pressure Wound Therapy systems) through technical and commercial advice and sales discussions with purchasers, users and decision-makers in hospitals (esp. OR/surgery, wound clinics) as well as during outpatient transitions (home care, nursing and care homes)
- Manage and develop existing customers
- Acquire new customers
- Prepare customer-specific product quotations
- Conduct product trainings and workshops with users
- Act as the interface between customer and company regarding logistics and complaint management
- Design and develop Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management and provide ongoing support
- Participate regionally in events and congresses
- Report market activities in the CRM system
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or university degree in a relevant field (e.g., medical, nursing or commercial education)
- Several years of solid sales experience with medical devices in the Swiss hospital market
- Extensive knowledge in the use of complex surgical/OR products, particularly wound closure products, modern wound care products or medical devices
- Entrepreneurial personality with a high degree of self-motivation
- Results-oriented approach with a strong service and customer focus
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Very good German / Swiss German (spoken & written); good English skills
- Good PC skills (especially MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is an advantage
- Valid driving licence (car)
- Residence in and willingness to travel within the specified sales territory
- Advantage: further qualification as a certified wound care specialist
- Language skills in French and/or Italian
- Experience in an international corporate environment
