About the role

  • Training Delivery & Field Coaching Activity (for new and tenured sales professionals)
  • Run learning events (classroom, webinar, field-based, etc.) on our LMS platform
  • Ensure all members of the sales team are certified in needed knowledge, skills, and behaviors
  • Join the Commercial team on field visits to ensure right implementation of product/clinical competence and sales enablement skills
  • Act as a mentor and role model for Sales Representatives & Regional Sales Managers
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans for your area of Commercial Training & Education

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working in sales, preferably in Smith & Nephew or related med device industry or 5+ years working in learning / training related fields
  • Demonstrated expertise and understanding of S+N products (especially NPWT)
  • Clinical pathways, surgical procedural knowledge, and competitive landscape
  • Sophisticated skills in facilitation and presentation (especially adult learning and/or interactive learning)
  • Commercial selling skills, business acumen and strong ability to work in autonomy
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills required to uncover the root causes and develop improvement initiatives
  • Savviness in using IT tools (e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, CRM system)
  • Very good language skills in both English & German (written/spoken)
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50% depending on location, mostly national travelling)
