About the role
- Provide daily operational support to the sales team by managing RFQs, preparing formal proposals and ensuring data in the CRM is accurate and up-to-date
- Lead the end-to-end administrative process for sales orders, including the creation and tracking of POs and SOs to ensure on-time fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Be the primary liaison between sales, purchasing and operations to verify inventory availability, inspections and shipping timelines
- Manage the onboarding of new accounts with excellent follow through and detail tracking
- Maintain proactive communication with existing customers regarding order statuses, tracking numbers and logistics updates
- Ensure all transactions adhere to Smith’s standard SOPs and trade requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or two years in a sales support role
