Project Manager

• Manage a team of Project Coordinators by providing day-to-day guidance and coaching as well as identifying opportunities for professional growth.
• Ensure Technical Account Managers (TAMs) and Agile Leads are appropriately supported in coordinating, planning, communicating, and executing the delivery of core project components.
• Oversee special projects, as assigned, by providing data analytics, project planning and effective execution.
• Coordinates and facilitates project meetings, reviews status and escalates issues for corrective action.
• Ensure completion of administrative tasks such as project operations support, deliverable management, communication support and project/service management tooling support.
• Triage project issues and work with internal departments to address/mitigate/resolve the issues, under the guidance of Technical Implementation Leads and Technical Account Managers.
• Proactively identify project blockers and risks and flags them to the project team.
• Develop and maintain issue logs and project repositories of documents, prepare documents for various recurring meetings including minutes, issue logs, etc.

• Lead architectural design and solutioning during discovery and early implementation phases, partnering with healthcare customers to uncover requirements and design scalable, standards-aligned solutions.
• Provide architectural oversight across the full implementation lifecycle and post–go-live, ensuring solutions remain aligned with Smile’s best practices, technical standards, and platform capabilities.
• Assess customer-specific requirements and recommend approaches for performance optimization, data ingestion workflows, bundle design, and terminology mapping.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Agile Leads, Solution Architects, and Technical Account Managers to resolve architectural questions and validate implementation patterns.
• Adapt and evolve solution designs as delivery progresses, addressing new constraints, scalability challenges, and deployment issues.
• Participate in customer-facing engagements including design reviews, technical workshops, retrospectives, and escalation discussions, providing clear technical direction at key decision points.
• Contribute to internal architecture governance through design reviews, documentation, and reusable solution assets, while staying current with Smile’s product roadmap and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., CMS interoperability mandates).

Senior Solutions Architect – Health Tech

QA Engineer

• Identify automated test cases that are critical and repetitive and automate them, overseeing their execution and maintenance.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Collaborate in ensuring bugs are triaged and resolved in time, creating a culture of quality in the production teams you are part of.
• Develop and execute automation scripts in an Agile model with efficiency and accuracy ensuring automation best practices.
• Develop and execute test plans on multiple projects concurrently, documenting results and working with teammates to identify root causes.
• Proactively develop in-depth understanding of project(s) and customer context, objectives and use cases.
• Collaborate with project teammates to deliver high quality software that meets customer requirements.
• Work closely with customers and project teammates to ensure requirements are testable and the delivered solutions are coherent, consistent and complete.

QA Automation Tester

• Drive discussions and resolve operational frictions and Client relations matters in a timely manner.
• Lead regular strategic reviews that map technical delivery to the client’s business outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with Client business leaders in Claims, Quality, and Member Experience.
• Monitor boundaries between contract inclusive support and new scope by validating needs and, when needed, pivoting the requirement to a Change Order to protect profit and loss.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Customer Success, to manage billable hours and prevent over-servicing that requires non-billable hours.
• Collaborate with Sales to Identify and qualify opportunities of expansion.

Business Solutions Manager

Cloud Engineer

• Develop, test, and maintain cloud-native RESTful APIs using Python, GoLang/ Go and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and manage Docker container images, ensuring best practices for image build, security, cost efficiency and deployments.
• Author, maintain, and version HELM charts for deploying services into Kubernetes/ Openshift Environment, including configuration/ annotation values, templates, upgrades and rollback support.
• Participate in (or build) CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and roll-back of SaaS services.

Product Manager

• Define and own the product strategy for Smile’s Core CDR platform components including data ingestion pipelines, data quality (master data management, enrichment, etc), persistence layer, and administration capabilities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to perform in-depth technical analysis to identify gaps between product and market/client needs, particularly in interoperability, performance, scalability, and standards compliance.
• Translate architectural patterns and operational needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Participate in architecture and code review discussions to validate feasibility, scalability, and maintainability of proposed solutions.
• Maintain a deep technical understanding of the stack (Java, HAPI FHIR, Kubernetes, Postgres, Kafka, etc.) to reason trade-offs and guide prioritization.
• Champion product capabilities related to data quality, deduplication, enrichment, and lifecycle management across ingest and persistence flows.
• Support backlog refinement and delivery oversight by providing technical context, architectural input, and prioritization guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Support architecture and design discussions to ensure product features are technically feasible, secure, and aligns with agile methodology and long-term platform strategy.
• Participate in architecture discussions to validate feasibility, scalability, and maintainability of proposed solutions.

• Accountable for ensuring that all working hours are accurately reported in the time tracking system on a daily or weekly basis, that the majority of (if not all) hours are tracked as billable and that the project management tool is properly and fully utilized.
• Tracking and reporting of billable hours is a critical aspect of project management and delivery to our customers and this is a major area of accountability.

Senior Product Manager, Data Platform

• Lead architectural design and solutioning during discovery and early implementation phases, working directly with healthcare customers to surface unknowns, ask the right questions, and co-design scalable, standards-aligned solutions.
• Provide ongoing architectural oversight and hands-on technical guidance (if needed) throughout the full implementation lifecycle and post-go-live, ensuring the solution remains aligned with Smile’s best practices, technical standards, and product capabilities.
• Evaluate customer-specific requirements and make technical recommendations around performance tuning, ingestion workflows, bundle design, and terminology mapping.
• Collaborate regularly with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, QA, Agile Leads, Solution Architects, and Technical Account Managers, to resolve architectural questions, validate patterns, and provide feedback that shapes future product improvements.
• Take ownership of evolving or refactoring designs when new constraints, blockers, or learnings emerge during delivery (e.g., scalability issues, deployment friction, real-time ingest gaps).
• Actively participate in customer-facing meetings, design reviews, retrospectives, and change discussions; support technical communication during escalations and decision points.
• Contribute to Smile’s internal architecture review boards, design documentation, reusable delivery assets, and solution playbooks to help scale implementation excellence across teams.
• Stay current with Smile’s product roadmap, technical stack, and regulatory mandates (e.g., CMS interoperability requirements); demonstrate curiosity and initiative in learning new tools and approaches.
