About the role
- Operate and maintain AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Manage access, networking, and security controls in line with best practices.
- Automate deployments, scaling, and environment provisioning using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
- Standardize configuration management across environments for repeatability and consistency.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline release processes.
- Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to reduce MTTR.
- Create incident response workflows and assist in root cause analysis and remediation.
- Manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable workloads.
- Drive patching and vulnerability remediation to meet security and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with the Reliability Engineer and Tech Lead to improve platform scalability and resilience.
- Recommend cost-efficient infrastructure solutions as usage grows.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- AWS (Core Skill) — 4+ years managing production infrastructure (IAM, EC2, VPC, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, networking, and security).
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Core Skill) — 3+ years with Terraform (or CDK/CloudFormation), automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- CI/CD (Core Skill) — 3+ years building and maintaining pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Experience managing containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to support observability and incident management.
- Exposure to vulnerability management, patching, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
