About the role
- Propel automation, scalability, and reliability in infrastructure and application deployments
- Spearhead the CI/CD strategy, infrastructure as code, and optimization of system performance
- Build, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications
- Streamline infrastructure setup through the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Lead DevOps strategy across development, QA, and production environments
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment workflows
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud and on-prem environments
- Manage container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards in automated workflows
- Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues across environments
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps guidelines
- Drive continuous improvement in release management and system reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years relevant experience
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experienced with system monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and security protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff
