About the role

  • Assist with the delivery of a range of projects within the Built Environment, Power, Waste, and Minerals sectors
  • Engage with and shadow experienced professionals to deliver projects
  • Become involved in the full breadth of environmental assessment and project management work
  • Support the delivery of projects across sectors including Power, Built Environment, and Minerals and Waste
  • Shadow a lead Technical Director and/or other senior members of the Planning & EIA team daily

Requirements

  • Environmental related degree or post-graduate qualification (or working towards)
  • Good knowledge of the EIA Regulations and planning system
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good report writing skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and, if necessary, to manage a team of internal and external consultants
  • A keen ability to show initiative when necessary and be involved in business development or industry events
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and some working knowledge of GIS
  • In design and MS project experience desirable but not essential
  • Good graphics and report presentation skills desirable
