About the role
- Deliver projects to a high standard
- Mentor junior staff
- Support innovation and continuous development of the team and output
- Design and management of ground investigation and monitoring
- Interpretative reporting including Preliminary Risk Assessments and Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Assessments
- Production of Remediation Strategies
- Supervision and validation of remedial works
Requirements
- BSc in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science or similar
- MSc advantageous but not essential
- Soil/Rock logging to BS5930
- Knowledge of relevant UK contaminated land and relevant planning legislation and guidelines
- Experience of designing, supervising and managing Geo-Environmental site investigations
- Experience of land contamination assessment – soil, water, ground gas and DQRA
- Experience in contributing to remedial options appraisals, remedial designs, remedial specifications, and validation reports
- Experience of preparing fee proposals for Geo-Environmental projects
- Excellent project management skills
- Chartered or working towards chartership through a professional institution
- Full UK driving license
