• Prepare and file all tax-related obligations for Sleek's Australian clients, including companies, individuals, and trusts
• Handle regulatory submissions such as Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR), and other ad-hoc compliance obligations
• Stay updated on financial and taxation regulations and legislation to ensure compliance
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients during tax return preparation; provide updates and address queries
• Ensure on-time lodgement of tax returns, regulatory submissions, and other compliance documents to meet deadlines and avoid penalties
• Perform other accounting and tax-related tasks as assigned, including support for audits or advisory services
• Use relevant accounting and tax software (Xero, MYOB, ATO online services) effectively to streamline processes and maintain accuracy
• Maintain high attention to detail in all deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian taxation standards

Tax Accountant

• Ensure transparency, reduce risk, and uphold organisational standards to support seamless transitions and maintain financial integrity
• Complete timely and accurate final account reconciliations and prepare reports
• Learn company policies, financial systems, and offboarding procedures; complete training provided by Sleek
• Begin managing simple offboarding cases under supervision and progress to handling cases independently
• Identify inefficiencies or risks in existing processes and suggest improvements

Operations

• Lead Sleek Australia’s operations, driving service delivery, process transformation, compliance, and profitability.
• Oversee and coordinate structured training, coaching, and leadership across accounting, tax, and payroll teams; work closely with department heads and subject matter experts.
• Build a high-performing, client-centric team culture, instilling accountability, efficiency, and focus on quality delivery.
• Oversee capacity planning, timely hiring, and effective onboarding to maintain service capacity and excellence.
• Take full ownership of client work delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to SLAs across all engagements.
• Ensure SOPs comply with ASIC and ATO requirements for companies and trusts and safeguard clients against regulatory risk.
• Monitor, measure, and continuously improve team performance, processes, and workflows to enhance productivity and gross profitability.
• Implement corrective actions where service issues arise to maintain client confidence and long-term relationships.
• Partner with leadership to set and achieve operational and financial targets for Sleek Australia.
• Contribute product feedback to enhance Sleek’s offerings; identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and digital tools.
• Standardise processes and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency and reliability in client delivery.
• Act as a key member of the leadership team, providing input into business strategy, service development, and client experience improvements.
• Anticipate future regulatory and industry shifts and proactively adapt Sleek’s capabilities.

• Lead the UK accounting team, driving process transformation, compliance, and profitability.
• Ensure team competency and client satisfaction through timely, accurate, high-quality deliverables.
• Provide structured training and leadership to the accounting team and keep them updated on accounting standards and regulatory requirements across services.
• Drive process improvements to enable scale and improve gross profitability for Sleek UK.
• Ensure timely filing of corporate returns and taxes per SLAs and maintain compliance with workflows.
• Demonstrate expertise in UK accounting regulations and company setups (private limited companies).
• Maintain team efficiency through timely hiring, training, and corrective actions for staff issues.
• Collaborate with senior leaders including Country Head - UK and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
