About the role
- Develop and position cultivars in the market, connecting research, production, marketing and commercial areas.
- Establish relationships with customers and strategic partners, delivering training and capacity-building for the commercial team and partners.
- Conduct field trials, collect and analyze results, and share information across company departments to generate demand and increase market share.
- Prepare and implement market development plans for Seed Sales.
- Build a portfolio of producers for the implementation of demand-generation fields.
- Train and provide technical assistance to the sales force and to producers in your regional portfolio.
- Map, organize, lead and participate in events (field days, tours, trade shows).
- Maintain relationships with consultants, producer associations and research and educational institutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitors and customer demands to identify opportunities for cultivar launches or repositioning.
- Stay up to date on product performance and new market technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy / Agricultural Engineering.
- Experience in market development for soybean and cotton.
- Knowledge of crop management, genetics and plant physiology.
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Availability to travel and regional mobility (position covers the eastern region of Mato Grosso: South and Araguaia Valley).
- Knowledge of Salesforce and TBDC (desirable).
- Valid driver’s license (Category B).
