About the role
- Create high-detail, textured illustrations (fabrics, environments, lighting, depth)
- Maintain consistent characters and style across all pages
- Build visually rich scenes (not flat or generic AI outputs)
- Use AI tools and/or 3D software to achieve high-quality results
- Refine and enhance images using editing tools
- Deliver cohesive, production-ready artwork
Requirements
- Portfolio showing highly detailed, textured visuals (this is #1)
- Strong sense of lighting, depth, and materials (fabric, surfaces, etc.)
- Ability to maintain character consistency across multiple scenes
- Experience with AI image tools OR advanced digital illustration
- Strong visual taste (this is huge)
- Preferred Experience with Blender or other 3D tools (for structure + consistency)
- Experience in children’s books or storytelling visuals
