About the role

  • Senior Configuration Analyst is a member of the Health Care Client Delivery Organization and provides support for new client implementations and migration of existing clients on the HOBS platform to Fidelity’s Health Benefits (FHB) platform
  • Works with the Project Manager and colleagues from various Health and Welfare workstreams to seamlessly execute high quality, new client implementations and migrations on the FHB platform
  • Interactions model Fidelity leadership principles to sustain an innovative culture and build a positive environment for the team
  • The Value You Deliver: Partner with the Project Manager to understand goals; perform data analysis and reporting; identify problems with business requirements and recommend modifications to the functional solution which may impact the system design; build test scenarios; perform root cause analysis when issues arise before and after code migrations; commit to Fidelity values, pillars, and priorities to fortify your brand

Requirements

  • BS or BA required
  • 5-7 years of experience in Health & Welfare Domain (preferred)
  • Ability to evaluate client requirements against FHB platform functionality and provide configuration design solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of configuration solutions to support the implementation lifecycle, conversion, and testing phases
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to think across various work streams and product categories
  • Organizational skills to define and meet deadlines within team structure comprised of several work streams
  • Competence in application/technology experience such as PLSQL, SQL, MS Access
  • Ability to understand, write and process complex SQL queries
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to assess gaps between offering and client needs to recommend solutions
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Flexible, multitasking and work with various members of the team on multiple projects or initiatives
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment
  • Understanding of the software development project life cycle process
  • Experience with related desktop software tools (MS Office, JIRA)
