About the role

  • Implement and evolve Shopify themes (Online Store 2.0) with a focus on quality and performance
  • Perform advanced customizations in sections, templates, metafields, and UX/conversion
  • Work on Shopify Plus projects, including Checkout Extensibility when applicable
  • Ensure responsiveness, fidelity to Figma designs, and visual quality
  • Optimize performance, basic accessibility, and front-end best practices
  • Document decisions and maintain versioning standards using Git

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Shopify and Liquid (themes, sections, snippets, and templates)
  • Recently published Shopify project
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, following best practices and componentization
  • Familiarity with metafields, cart/checkout flows, and Shopify apps
  • Experience with Git, code reviews, and delivering via Pull Requests
  • Ability to read and interpret layouts in Figma
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience with Checkout UI Extensions and Shopify CLI
  • Knowledge of TypeScript and React
  • Familiarity with Shopify Functions and APIs (Admin/GraphQL)
  • Experience with CRO and performance optimization (Core Web Vitals)
  • Experience with Shopify Plus projects
