About the role
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven systems and workflows that improve internal efficiency and accelerate business impact
- Build agentic AI applications, multi-model pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and integrations with existing systems
- Collaborate with engineers, product designers, and product managers to design, review, and build AI-powered software
- Partner with content, marketing, and operations teams to identify and deliver AI-driven workflows that improve efficiency and close knowledge gaps
- Architect and implement agentic systems, multi-model pipelines, and evaluation frameworks using modern AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph)
- Engage in an agile and iterative workflow to expediently launch new AI functionalities
- Improve engineering quality through documentation, experimentation, and establishing best practices for AI development
- Monitor, evaluate, and refine AI system performance using benchmarks, evals, and production metrics to ensure reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Break down product requirements and research opportunities into manageable technical tasks and roadmaps
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering
- At least 1–2 years working directly with AI/ML systems in production
- Proficiency with LLM frameworks and libraries (LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent)
- Experience with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and evaluation frameworks
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and APIs
- Familiarity with modern backend languages and frameworks (Node.js, Python, or Typescript/NestJS)
- Knowledgeable about observability and cost/quality monitoring for AI systems (Datadog, custom dashboards, LLM usage analytics)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to design, implement, and iterate on scalable AI-powered applications and workflows
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and experience working in fast-paced startup environments
- Nice to have: Experience with multimodal AI (text, vision, audio), model fine-tuning, or benchmarking across multiple LLM providers
